The season closed last weekend with a very good 4-1 win at Penrith, the fixture also saw manager, Mark Collingwood equal a long standing club record of 362 games in charge of the Red Star team.

That record was held by Larry Phillips, who had two spells managing the club, from 1978 to 1982 (205 games) and 1983 to 1987 (157 games).

Mark also had a break away from the club and his spells have been 2012 to 2016 (211 games) and 2017 to date (151 games). We will all be waiting to see what the opening fixture of the 2022/23 season when the record will be broken.

Last weekend also saw the Club's presentation, with well deserved awards going to:

Player of the Year             - Joe Hailes

Players Player of the Year - Mark Robinson

Management P o Y           - Max Nelson & Danny Sayer (joint awards)

Supporters P o Y              - Adam Lennox

Leading Goalscorer          - Adam Lennox

Club Unsung Hero            - Helen Stoker

Both Liam Hodgson and Joe Hailes completed 100 club appearances during the season.
