FIRST HALF

A period of Consett dominance in the first 20 minutes saw Seaham's backline hold strong until Consett broke the deadlock in the 24th minute. Consett's goalscorer apparently handling the ball before lashing the ball in off the underside of the bar. 1-0

It would only take Seaham two minutes to level the scoring. Lee Kerr collected the ball on the left-hand side before whipping the ball towards Jordan Patterson. Pattinson headed the ball home to make it 1-1.

 Consett came really close in the 40th minute. The ball getting past Andrew Jennison, only for Max Nelson to clear the ball off the line. The score staying level at the break.

SECOND HALF

The second half got off to a bad start as Mark Robinson made a rash challenge, only to be awarded a yellow card.

Consett would regain the lead just 8 minutes after the booking. The ball falling to the feet of Callum Guy at the back post to who would place the ball in the top right corner. 2-1

The hosts took a two-goal advantage in the 78th minute. After initially denying the first effort, Jennison was left helpless and the ball was played to Pearson who slotted the ball into the empty net. 3-1
